Opening of the exhibition 'Eye on Poland. New Graphic Design from Poland'

The Polish Institute in New Delhi in collaboration with the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai and Culture.pl are thrilled to present exhibition “EYE ON POLAND. New Graphic Design from Poland” to the Mumbai audience.
The exhibition, curated by the Magdalena Frankowska and Artur Frankowski (of Fontarte studio), showcases contemporary Polish graphic design as represented in the most interesting projects of the past few years. The exhibited works include posters, books, exhibition catalogues, CD and vinyl record covers - prints of various designs and functions, which can be transformed by an outstanding designer from utilitarian objects to means of artistic expression. Most of the exhibited works were commissioned by cultural institutions, museums, foundations and art galleries.
Artists whose works feature in the exhibition include Jakub de Barbaro, Edgar Bak, Ada Bucholc, Maciej Buszewicz, Robert Czajka, Justyna Czerniakowska, Przemek Debowski, Agata Dudek, Marta Gawin, Fontarte, Ania Goszczynska, Full Metal Jacket, Grupa Projektor, Malgorzata Gurowska, Jakub Stepien (Hakobo), Aleksandra Mizielinska and Daniel Mizielinski (Hipopotam studio), Joanna Górska and Jerzy Skakun (Homework), Jakub Jezierski, Michal Jonca, Joanna Jurczak, Michal Kaczynski, Ryszard Kajzer, Grzegorz Laszuk, Lech Majewski, Moonmadness, Macio Moretti, Ola Niepsuj, Magdalena Piwowar, Powazne Studio, Jakub Sowinski, Honza Zamojski.
Recently a series of exhibitions entitled “Eye on Poland” were held in Japan, South Korea and India attracting great interest amongst visitors and art aficionados. For the first time the exhibition will be presented in Mumbai.
The exhibition continues till 31 July 2016. Closed on Wednesdays.
